Project Overview
IP Associates successfully designed and implemented a multi-location Excellence Center for Advanced Welding Training for Hindalco Industries Limited across Vagra (Gujarat), Rayagada, and Sambalpur.
The project involved the deployment of a total of 10 Augmented Reality (AR) Welding Simulators (WeldSim), strategically distributed to meet plant-specific training requirements. This initiative enables standardized, safe, and high-impact welding training across all locations.

Technology Deployed – AR Welding Simulator (WeldSim)
The WeldSim AR Welding Simulator replicates real-world welding scenarios in a controlled, virtual environment. Trainees receive real-time feedback on welding parameters such as arc length, travel speed, torch angle, and weld consistency.
This technology ensures risk-free practice, reduced material wastage, and objective, data-driven skill assessment.
Impact
This multi-location deployment has enabled Hindalco to build a scalable, future-ready welding training ecosystem. The Excellence Center strengthens workforce capability, improves safety, and aligns skill development with Industry 4.0 standards.
