Sectioned Diesel Engine (Common Rail) Trainer

This trainer provides the instructor with a complete 4-cylinder diesel engine for group or whole-class demonstration, mounted on a moveable, heavy-duty steel frame. The engine is operated by hand and is sectioned so that all moving parts can be seen and the way they interact can be observed.

This resource is supplied with a manual containing practical tasks and activities.

Our optional cloud-based programme, which provides interactive online theory presentations, investigations, and assessments to accompany the practical tasks done with this resource, can also be utilised in conjunction with the trainer.

The trainer allows the instructor to demonstrate the following:

 The operation of crankshaft and pistons

 The timing relationships between engine components
