Electric Steering and Suspension Trainer

For group or entire class demonstrations, this actual component trainer gives the instructor access to a fully functional electric, power-assisted steering and suspension trainer.

This consists of each individual part of the system being displayed on a movable, steel frame for easy identification.

The system is complete with sub-frame, torsion bar, wishbones, front hub assembly, steering column, steering wheel, electric power steering rack and ECU.

A fault insertion panel allows specific faults to be inserted into the wiring of the trainer without damaging the circuit.

 Specifications:

• Jacks fitted beneath the road wheels to load the suspension

• Fitted with manufacturer’s diagnostic socket (16 pin)

• Ammeter fitted to observe current draw

• Pin-Out box fitted using Ø2mm sockets enabling ‘real-time’ values to be taken without compromising the wiring harness

• Mounted in a box section frame with castors

• Powder coated paint finish

• Supply voltage, 12 volts DC

• Fault insertion (6 faults)
