Electro-Hydraulic Demo Bench – IES-MS-502

The Electro-Hydraulic Demo Bench is a comprehensive training platform for academic and industrial programs focused on fluid power and automation.
The system provides hands-on experience with single-acting and double-acting hydraulic cylinders, directional control valves, and a hydraulic power pack, integrated with relay-based and PLC-based control.

IES-MS-502

Technical Specifications

Hydraulic Power Unit – Hydraulic power pack equipped with a gear pump delivering 2.5 LPM at 70 bar, integrated pressure relief valve with locking arrangement, suction and return line filters, and pressure & return manifolds with four ports each.

PLC Controller Module – CompactLogix or equivalent PLC operating on 24 V DC, equipped with 16 Digital Inputs, 16 Digital Outputs, and Ethernet communication interface for automation control.

Hydraulic Actuators – Includes single-acting cylinder and double-acting cylinder with 200 mm stroke length and 25 mm bore for demonstrating hydraulic linear motion control.

Directional Control Valves – Hydraulic directional valves including 4/2-way single solenoid valve and 4/3-way double solenoid valve with ¼″ connection, manual override, and LED indication operating on 24 V DC.

Manual Hydraulic Valves – Lever-operated 3/2-way, 4/2-way and 4/3-way hydraulic valves with closed centre and tandem centre configurations for manual hydraulic circuit operation.

Pressure Control Components – Direct-operated hydraulic pressure relief valve designed to regulate and protect the system from excessive pressure conditions.

Flow Control and Check Valves – Includes flow control valve with check valve, non-return valve, and pilot-operated check valve for controlling flow direction and maintaining hydraulic pressure stability.

Instrumentation and Sensors – Glycerine-filled pressure gauge (0–100 bar) for accurate pressure monitoring, pressure switch (230 V AC, NC type), and inductive proximity sensors (3-wire PNP, 24 V DC) for position sensing.

Hydraulic Hoses and Fittings – High-pressure ¼″ hydraulic hoses in multiple lengths with quick-release couplings and T-connectors for flexible plug-and-play hydraulic circuit connections.

Electrical and Control System – Control section including relay station with multiple contact sets, illuminated pushbutton station, and electrical interface using 2 mm / 4 mm banana socket connections for easy experimentation.
